About us

Lancashire Freight — freight without surprises.

We're a USDOT-registered freight and hay logistics company built around two ideas: shippers deserve a binding price with no surprises, and carriers deserve a partner that pays on time. Everything we do follows from those two commitments.

How we work

What makes us different

Lancashire Freight arranges FTL and LTL freight across dry van, flatbed and refrigerated equipment, matching every load to a vetted, insured carrier. We verify every carrier against the FMCSA SAFER database — confirming active operating authority, insurance coverage and safety rating — before they ever touch your freight. Our quote technology returns a binding, all-in rate in about 60 seconds, fuel included, held for 48 hours: the number you see is the number you pay. And when something goes sideways in transit, a real person is reachable 24/7 to fix it. That's the whole company in a sentence: transparent pricing, vetted capacity, and humans who answer the phone.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is Lancashire Freight a licensed freight broker?+

Lancashire Freight is USDOT-registered (USDOT #7309891) and our FMCSA broker authority application is in process. Until it's granted, every load moves on carriers holding their own active FMCSA authority and insurance.

How do you vet carriers?+

Every carrier is verified against the FMCSA SAFER database for active operating authority, current insurance ($1M cargo / $1M auto liability minimum) and a satisfactory safety rating before being assigned a load.

What does a binding quote mean?+

The all-in rate we quote — fuel surcharge included — is the rate you pay. It's held for 48 hours and doesn't change after you accept it.
